REIMAGINING LITTLE NEMO (1989)

In a retelling of the animated film, Nemo lives within the a major city-state controlled by an oligarch many call the Nightmare King. They end up fired from their dead-end job and, while running away from their former workplace in a fit of desperation, end up in one of the more run-down areas of the city where they meet Morpheus. This leads them down a journey of radicalization, working with Morpheus and other residents of the area to destroy the Nightmare King’s control and allow everyone to live in their community in peace.

Trying to help free the city from intense surveillance, Nemo attempts to break a CCTV circuit. Unfortunately, this activates a citywide alert that lets the Nightmare King know exactly what they’ve done.
